What Is The Bible…?

The Bible is 1 volume with 66 books written over a period of 1600 years by over 40 authors that lived at different times and only a handful knew one another. It tells us how we got hear how everything went wrong and as a result, it takes us on a 4000-year journey until that wrong could be put right. All the books have a common theme and that is Gods redemptive plan for salvation through his only begotten son Jesus Christ. The Bible was written in three languages the old testament was written mostly in Hebrew with a few chapters in Aramaic the new testament was written in Greek the Bible was written while some of the authors were in prison and going through difficult times other parts were written in good times at Weddings the birth of a child and after victories on the battle field. You have an old Testament 39 books in total  and they are split into sections the first 5 books are known as the Torah  and they cover the creation the patriarchs the law of Moses and Israel’s wandering in the Desert. The next 12 are known as the Historical books that archive the history of Israel the Conquest of Cannan the time of the Judges and the reign of Israels Kings. Then the 5 Poetical books the Psalms, Proverbs.Job and Solomon’s work and the Last 17 books are the Prophetic 5 major and 12 minor all major doctrines of the bible are found rooted in the first 11 chapters of Genesis. The new Testament has 27 books we have the four Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John we have The book of Acts that is the birth of the Church there is 21 known as the Epistles that is Letters written by Paul, Peter,James,Jude and John and the book of Revelation that talks of the End times and the second coming of Jesus Christ.Augustine a theologian of the past said “The new is in the old concealed; the old is in the new revealed.” speaking of the old and new testament and this quote sums up the continuity of the Bible.

The Bible is the best-selling book of all time pulling in more than 5 billion copies and has been at the top ever since Gutenberg turned a winepress into the printing press in 1440. The Gutenbergno-1-best-seller bible was mass produced between 1450-1455 and in the 1500s there were a few early English translations but it was  with Tyndale’s Bible 1524-1536 it had the biggest impact  and it had arrived in the  English language.Since then the Bible has been translated into 554 languages and 2932 have at least some portion of Scripture from the Bible this is out of 7000 known language groups. There is a movement called Vision 2025 that are trying to have the Bible translated into all languages by 2025.The Bible has shaped all aspects of life right down to  the way we speak and the  phrases that we say like.An eye for an eye, By the skin of your teeth, The  blind leading the blind, Can a leopard change his spots, Forbidden fruit,Good Samaritan, Scapegoat, Put words in one’s mouth,Sign of the times, Wolf in sheep’s clothing and The writings on the wall.this is just a few in a plethora of choice. The Bible has been the foundation for all our legal ethical and moral codes The ten commandment’s The Golden Rule and The sermon on the mount. The Bible is also the most persecuted book of all time.

This could not be further from the truth as from Constantines time there had been sanctions leading to a ban that lasted for 1000 years, coined the dark ages. Constantine at the council of Nicea tried to unify Christianity under his banner as the Roman empire up till that point persecuted the Christians to no avail.Even to the point of public executions by feeding them to starved lions in the colosseums that fed the streak of depravity that Rome had running through her veins at that time.Thinking that feeding them to the lions would discourage the growth of Christianity but all it did was bolster the believers so it was time for a new approach. Constantine signed in 313 a.d the Edict of Milan for the tolerance of Christians and  after the council of Nicea 325 a.d where they debated the nature of God to the Son and his divinity. All well and good but not forgetting Constantine mingled Christianity  with a dash of Paganism here  and a sprinkle of Mithraism there he signed an Edict in 331 a.d and those who didn’t agree with his Christianity were deemed heretics these groups that didn’t fall under Rome’s rule used different gospels and their writings were to be burned. In 393 a.d at the council of hippo, the 27 books of  the New Testament were sanctioned and confirmed 4 years later at the council of Carnage you would think that now these books have been established any and all would be able to read them. From that point the populace the “average Joe” was discouraged from reading the Bible. In 1229 a.d the Council of Toulouse “the crusade against the Albigensians” says at Canon 14 .

“We prohibit also that the laity should be permitted to have the books of the Old or New Testament; unless anyone from motive of devotion should wish to have the Psalter or the Breviary for divine offices or the hours of the blessed Virgin; but we most strictly forbid their having any translation of these books”. s

The Council of Tarragona of 1234 a.d, Ruled

“No one may possess the books of the Old and New Testaments in the Romance language, and if anyone possesses them he must turn them over to the local bishop within eight days after promulgation of this decree, so that they may be burned lest, be he a cleric or a layman, he be suspected until he is cleared of all suspicion.”

This was when the Inquisition started as  a priest named Dominic was getting frustrated by the Albegensas and in  1207 was humiliated by their leader by 1209 pope innocent commissioned the crusades against  the Albegensians. For the next 600 years, Rome ran through any who’s view’s where different from there’s yes there was what you would call hereticsbanned-bible but some say 50 million bible believers lost their lives. So we have a book that was banned and only put in one language latin  and Rome does not believe in a literal interpretation of the Word only those that were priests could read it man has controlled  man. I also here rich powerful men wrote the Bible to control people basically the same question as the opening  why would someone write a book only to ban it then spend 1700 years trying to change it rewrite it and more so the last 200 years say that the main person in the account is made up (Jesus).Talking of banned whenever a totalitarian government rears its ugly head the Bible is the first thing to be banned  some also say the Bible is a book of fairy tales and this is clearly from people who haven’t read it especially with an open mind if the Bible is a book of Fairy tales why has it been banned in some countries. The Gideons International have a list of countries where they are not allowed to operate: Afghanistan, Algeria, China (People’s Republic), Comoros, Djibouti, Iran,Iraq, Libya, Maldives, Mauritania, Morocco, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yemen.and it is restricted in many more there are Asians as we speak being brutally murdered for reading the Bible.

In History there is nothing recorded more than the victories of battles and wars, between 3500 b.c -2008 there were 123 major battles that  you could say were religious that’s out of 1763 wars. This figure is from “The Encyclopedia of wars” by Charles Phillips and Alan Axelrod so that accounts for 7% of all wars and it gives a body count of 2 % from warfare from the 123 battles,  66 were of Islamic origin that gives a figure of 53 % so all other religious wars combined came to less than 50 %. Furthermore, according to “The Encyclopedia of wars” out of the 1763 battles, 1640 were not in the name of religion  most wars fought were political, Territorial and some personal vendetta. In the last 700 years, crusade-muslimthe wars where for wealth and control 93% are Government 3.7% by the Islamic wars and t 3.3% from all other religions combined. So as we can see Religion IS NOT the leading case of war and even when it is a religion at the centre of the battle we can see that Christianity isn’t the leading cause Atheists even other religions will cite wars of the past and the top 3 are the Salem witch trials the Crusades and the inquisition. At the Salem witch trials only 35 people died  and the colonies after it admitted they were in error and compensated the families. Anything from 200,000 to 1 million  died. In the 9 crusades that spanned 200 years, later the crusades also were said that they did not represent true Christianity and were condemned and the Inquisition in one form or another lasted from 12 09 till 1834 some say the death toll varies from the Spanish 3000-5000 was the official death toll but this is wrong as W. W. Norton, 1964; reprint, 1996], 123). mention the death of 32,000 and “The History of the Albigensian Crusade”, Tr. W.A. Sibly & M.D. Sibly mention that:-

“Our men spared no one, irrespective of rank, sex or age, and put to the sword almost 20,000 people.”After this great slaughter, the whole city was despoiled and burnt, as Divine vengeance raged miraculously…”

So 54,000 over a 600 year period and later condemned by the Christian world.Out of the three worst Christian atrocities ,the death toll doesn’t exceed 2 million and that’s over a period of 700 years. The Death toll by Anti-religious/Atheists in just the last 100 years alone the 20th century comes to the total of 78 million so the answer is NO the bible doesn’t cause Wars  as said above it would be very hard for a book to cause wars that over 1000 years was discouraged and banned.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.Proverbs 25 v 2

Design is all through the Bible and on so many levels in the above clip it shows that Genesis 1 v 1 can equate to Pi  3.1415  and also in John 1 v 1 you do the same and you get E .2.7183. As mentioned  many levels, One of these is known as  Equal distance Letter Sequence (ELS).a Jewish Rabbi in Prague Yacov Rambsel  discovered if from the beginning of the book of Genesis you skip 50 letters and 50 more, and 50 more letters that the word “Torah” was spelt out. This happens in Exodus as well, In Numbers and Deuteronomy, the same happens but “Torah is spelt backwards this didn’t happen in Leviticus with the every 50th letter but if you do it with every 7th letter you get Gods name YHWH. Just like all written languages flow to Jerusalem west of Jerusalem from Left to write and east of Jerusalem from right to left. There are many examples of ELS all through the Bible. If you take the first 10 names of Seth’s line in the book of Genesis you get the Gospel written down  1500 years before the birth of Christ

genealogy-of-genesis-5-adam-to-noah (1).jpg

To say the Bible is a normal book written by Man you are very much mistaken as computers in the 20th century would be hard pushed to get mathematical equations the same as what you find in Genisis and the book of John. Some say if you count the letters in any book you would get a name place etc but a name place that is relevant to the book and chapter that the ELSis found in you would be hard pushed. What about finding a Prophecy 4000 years before in 10 names (Image above) to me is attestation that the book is Gods word and it is what it says it is and I hear all the time it was written by Man,Man cannot to this day do what you have seen above and as I said it would be hard pushed with a P.C never mind without technology the way it is today. Most Atheists believe in aliens and aliens channel psychics if you believe that how hard is it to believe that God used his Spirit to guide the pen of the men who wrote the bible. There is a lot more Codes peppered all through the bible and the codes compliment the text that they are found one more that I feel is important this is a  passage in the Old Testament Isaiah 53 and is known as the suffering servant  it gives a description also can be seen as design of Christ and events in his life

“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed”

Yacov Rambsel found: Every 12th Letter in Hebrew spells ” Jesus is my name” also in the book of proverbs 30 v 4,

Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?

What is his son’s name ? Starting with the first yod counting every 22nd letter you get Yeshua shai and that means “Yeshua, the Gift” So two passages that are clear Prophecies pertaining to Christ with a hidden code telling you his name after reading this if you are still 100% skeptical nothing will change your mindset even in Jesus day people seen him perform miracles and heard him tell them who he was and they still never believed (John 6).

In The book Finding the Real Jesus by Lee Strobel, he talks about Bart Ehrman and Bart is a Textual Critic and he boasts that there are between 200,000 – 400,000 textual errors between the manuscripts. That might seem a lot but we have to take into account before the printing press the New Testament was hand-written this usually took 10 months and finding-the-real-jesuserrors would be  common place. There are ruffly 30,000 manuscripts we have 5700 greek 10,000 latin and 15,000 from all the other languages they range from full new testaments to just the gospels right down to fragments of papyrus.if we lost all 30,000 manuscripts we could reconstruct the New Testament from the Early Church Fathers writings alone. There is close to 1 million quotations and 32,000 before the council of Nicea if there is a difference of a word in one place that is known as a textual variant.  If you have the word Lord in 1000 manuscripts and all the other’s say Jesus that  counts as a variant and if just one of the 30,000 + have one word misspelt that two is a variant. Over 80 % of textual errors are spelling  differences that are not in the English dialect and have no impact on the meaning.  For example in greek at the end of a word when the next starts with a vowel that is what’s called a moveable “nu” whether it appears or not makes no difference to the meaning but still counts every time as a variant. Another example  the name john can be spelt with one n or two n’s this still count as a variant. Then there is nonsense errors that’s when it’s clear and obvious that the word used doesn’t fit the context  if a scribe writes the word “and” when he meant to write “Lord” and it’s obvious that it should not be there in these cases its easy to reconstruct . We have variants involving synonyms does John 4 v 1 say “when Jesus knew” or “when the Lord new” we are not sure what goes back to the original but both words are true. The order of words in greek are not as important as in English there are 16 different ways in greek to say “Jesus loves Paul”it still counts as a variant if they are in a different order of words.  We have so many variants because we have so many copies.Only about 1% affect the meaning of the text for example, did Paul say in Romans 5 v 1 “we have peace” or “let us have peace” the difference is one letter in the greek in John 1 v 4 is it “our joy” or “your Joy” there is testimony to both readings the meaning might be affected but no foundation belief or doctrine are in danger. There is Intensional Changes when using scripture for daily readings that scribes changed when it says he this was changed in some passages to Jesus. In Mark there are 89 Verses in a row where Jesus Isn’t mentioned once, this was done so the reader would know that it was Jesus that the text was referring too. Last we will mention disputed text’s this has caused a lot of bother over the years and it always goes back to the earliest manuscript’s. When they say this they mean codex Sinaiticus,Vaticanus and the Alexandrian texts  of which I am NOT a fan of and I will go into this in detail in another article to follow this. For all intense purposes it’s  because they are said to be the oldest and here is where other manuscripts and the writings  of the early church fathers come in for example, the last 12 verses of Mark are said to be added if your bible says this you are reading from a translation that is based from the Alexandrian Text but Polycarp 69 -155 a.d the Bishop of Smyrna appointed by Paul and he travelled with John he quotes the last 12 verses omitted from Mark. The N.I.V alone omits 64,576 words  16/17 scriptures about Christ and 147 major portions from scriptures that’s a lot of variants and that’s with one modern translation. So next time you here the Bible is full of errors I hope this section I have written comes to mind that the variant is minor at best and help you understand and defend the Bible when it happens and it will.

I will cover here how it came about in modern times. The printing press 1400 was introduced but  the first movable type was invented in Korea as early as 1377 a.d. Wycliffe (Lollards) bible as Guttenberg bible was based on Jerome’s Vulgate although it conformed to catholic teaching, The Catholic church pulled no punches to repress it as Wycliffe’s and companions wrote it for the layman and Rome didn’t like that.  Even after Wycliffe’s death, the pope exhumed his body  crushed his bones and scattered them in the river all because he  translated the Bible into Engish. When Constantine died the Empire was split into east and west the west was dominated by Latin and the east continued to read and write inscribe greek.  The east was known as the Byzantium empire in 1453 the ottomans led by Mohammed the 2nd attacked Constantinople and it fell. This was a pivotal moment for bible translators as a large group of byzantine scholars came to the west bringing with them a horde of ancient Greek manuscripts the “New Testament” and the schools soon after would start teaching the greek language. George Hermonymus of Sparta was one of these scholars and one of his pupils was Erasmus, Erasmus’s Bible was written in Greek (1516) with a parallel reading of Latin the first complete New Testament using the Textus Receptus. History might say it was to show the superiority of the latin version but this was not so it was to show the superiority of the greek. Then you had Luther 1522, Tyndale 1522-1536, The Geneva 1560 Then The  King James Version 1611. I myself use The  king James and it is in old English and some things have been better translated in other copies and some words have changed meaning e.g Replenish used to just mean fill now means to refill.   All modern translations are based on the Alexandrian Text this was the work of Origin and he was apart from Marcion the biggest Gnostic at the time. Round about the same time in  100 a.d you had in Antioch a group writing out the Bible and they were distributing them all over to all churches small groups this was known as the northern stream.  Marcion was the first to combine the letters and a gospel 11 books he put together and made a cannon but changing a lot. As he believed the God of the new Testament was all about love and in the old he seen him as this Angry  tyrant (he clearly didn’t get it if that was his view). He also believed God was a dotty demiurge and Sophia was his maker . Origin was Gnostic also and took all this on board when writing the Alexandrian text They were Jehovah’s of their day.  You also have the Vaticanus and the Sinaiticus that was conveniently found by Constantine Von Tischendorf while he was on a trip to seek for old copies of the Bible as he didn’t like the Textus Receptus. In 1866 he mentions in a letter “We have come upon a better plan that will set aside king-james-1the Textus Receptus for good” all Three Alexandrian, Vaticanus and Sinaiticus were used by Jerome in 382 a.d  for his Vulgate.  As I said above the Sinaiticus is sketchy at best Von Tischendorf goes into a monastery and find’s the monks burning the Codex “Hmm”.The King James Version was updated a few time’s and in the late 1800s they added in the Majority text as this is just added manuscripts that had been found since Tyndale’s time. At this time you had two Bible Scholars who detested the Textus Receptus i believe they were Jesuits Westcott and Hort  A Few things to know about these two who have pushed the Alexandrian text that was a text compiled by Origin 184-253 A.D leader of a Gnostic sect. Who seen Jesus as a man doubted Jesus temptations did not believe the Bible was to be taken literally Jehovah’s of their day riding on the Back of Marcion 85-160 A.D Father of Christian Gnosticism one of the first on record to compile a cannon. Westcott and Hort Started occult movements like The Hermes Club and The Ghostly Guild and out from these groups came “the Society for Psychical Research” Rosicrucian guided of course,Westcott and Hort had as we see an agenda to corrupt the Bible Versions that use the Textus Receptus When you see in the Margins not according to the oldest manuscripts they mean Vaticanus Sinaiticus Alexandrinus codex’s translated from Origin’s translation the Alexandrian text.

The Alexandrian text we know to be corrupt it was written as a group of letters were pouring out from Antioch in 100 A.D to all the Churches known as the Northern stream. Now known as the Textus Receptus that the 5700 hand written Greek Manuscripts Agree on all but Spelling and nonsensical error’s. The Word but would be put instead of Christ an obvious error to the text when read,.Do you want to read a Bible that is known to come from a corrupt text ?. To top it all off they admired darwin that says it all. There are round about 151 translations of the bible and they use the Alexandrian text each copy has to be 10% Different from the Original to get their copyright I’m sure there aren’t 151 different ways to say Jesus love you.

Prophecy is a big part of the Bible 26% give or take , The figure of how many prophecies there are is debated  but a figure of close to 2000 would be a conservative estimate. The Purpose of Prophets was to  relay messages from God to his People. Jesus Fulfilled  over 300 prophecies alone just to fulfil 8 would be 1 x 10 with 28 0s. The major and minor prophets left their prophecies in their books and there is a number of prophecies that were not written down and known as oral prophecies. The Prophets had four basic themes, to expose the sinful actions of the people, to call people back to Gods laws, To warn about Gods impending judgement and for the anticipation of the coming of the Messiah. In the Gospels, you see the fulfilment of the  Prophecies pertaining to Jesus  in the New Testament you have 578 and they are mostly concentrated into the only Prophetic book in the New Testament “The book of Revelation”. Prophecies did not always come to pass as some were warnings to people of what would happen if they did not turn from their wicked ways Jonah and Ninevah for example. Not all are prophecies of doom and I like to refer to them as Promises of God like When in Isaiah 11 when he talks about a time when the Wolf will lie with the lamb and the little child will lead them. We are  now at a time when the remaining prophecies are being fulfilled at a rapid rate the book of Revelation is more up to date than tomorrow’s news papers give it a read..!

The word archaeology comes from the greek arkhaiologia and means the science of ancient things.Biblical archaeology is a branch that uses a mix of conventional archaeology and Biblical studies what it can show is that the Bible is not based on myth and magic but on reliable historical fact. Archaeological evidence which relates to the bible record comprises of 25,000 sites of which only about 200 have been excavated and nearly 100,000 written documents many of which have yet to be published. It is well known in the archaeology community that the bible is used as a source of reference to start a dig. eThey have found the ancient city of Jericho the bible describes when the 21ft walls fell only rehabs house was left standing. and  we find also that the sites of Sodom and Gomorrah have been found. Excavators of Tell es-Safi (the Philistine city of Gath) have made many discoveries over 20 years of excavations, but in 2015 they found the monumental gate of Gath from the time of Goliath (its most famous resident). It is one of the largest city gates ever found in Israel, attesting to the importance of the city 3,000 years ago. They have found the Moabite stone, on black basalt 3 feet high and 2 feet wide dating to 830 b.c found in 1868 and it qumrancommemorates the revolt of Mesha king of Moab against Israel (2 kings 3 v 5-7). The Cyrus Cylinder discovered in the19th century dating from 536 b.c tells how Cyrus captured Babylon without a battle and sent prisoners including Jews from Babylon back to their own lands. An inscription with the name Pilate and Tiberius on a stone from a theatre at Caesarea found in 1961.In 1947 a young Bedouin Sheperd lost one of his animals and ended up in a cave and came across large clay Jars containing leather scrolls that had lay there untouched for over 1800 years. This find was very important as the Bible was coming under a lot of Attack as The theory of Evolution was growing and was introduced into the Education system by 1950. The Scrolls were a library of a religious sect known as the Essenes they were a splinter group of Judaism. Out of the documents and fragments discovered about 100 of them are books or parts of books of the old Testament all the 39 books were represented except the book of Ruth. In one of the caves they found copper scrolls that gave directions to 64 locations throughout Israel that had hidden treasure,The dead sea scrolls show how accurate the books of the bible are and just how much God has Preserved his word.

Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.            Psalm 12 v 7

The scrolls were composed between the first century b.c and the first century a.d the scroll of Isaiah was found in Cave 1 and is the oldest complete manuscript of a complete book of the Old Testament it is 1000 years older than any biblical manuscript known. apart from grammatical changes, it revealed the remarkable accuracy with which scribes copied the sacred texts.maintaining the integrity of the Hebrew Bible.

This must be the most common thing said when concerning the Bible that it is full of Contradictions this blog is just a summary and i will go into more detail on the subjects raised at a later date . I have read the bible for 10 years and came up against a lot of so called contradictions and when i read it in context that helps with some in others when you go into the original greek and Hebrew it clears up a lot but you will get from people the bible says here one thing and there another thing so the Bible must be untrue.I will touch on the ones i come across on a weekly basis people say the bible says “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” but Jesus says to “Love your Enemies” the first is from the Law in the Old Testament and in Christ we no longer follow the 613 commandments that’s why in the New Testamentb When Jesus says to Love your Enemies he establishes the Royal Law and that it to love the Lord God  with all your heart mind and soul and Love your brother as yourself.

And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, And the vulture, and the kite after his kind; Every raven after his kind; And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. Leviticus 11 v 13-19

So does the Bible identify Bats as Birds the word in Hebrew for bird is “owph” and means winged/flying creature  the classification system that we use nowadays is  the Linnean classification and didn’t come about till the 1700’s. Another how  Judas hung himself

And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.Matthew 27 v 5

“Now this man [Judas] purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.”Acts 1 v 18

Matthew tells us that Judas died by hanging (death is inferred from the passage). Luke, being a doctor, gives us a graphic description of what occurred following the hanging when you have hung yourself after a few days the gases in your stomach swell and burst. This was always a sign of a traitor  .And some have their stomach slit like in this clip below  from  Hannibal.

Same at the garden of Gargeneses

And when he was come to the other side. into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.Matthew  8 v 28

And they came over unto the other side of the iinn  country of the Gadarenes And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
Mark 5 v 1-2

the Gospels are different accounts of something that happened, like 3 people attending a football match giving a write-up,  and one more Luke writing after the fact his report. Now Mathew mentioned 2  demon men in is report and mark talks of one, more or likely one of the two was considerably worse than the other and that’s the one mark remembered seeing his focus was on the man approaching the boats. There is also did the woman see one angel or 2.its only a contradiction if one made the statement there were no angels at all present this would need to be said to draw a conclusion as an argument from silence is no argument meaning if one of the Gospels just left the information out it doesn’t count.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: Luke24 v 4

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. Matthew 28 v 2

The fact is a lot of women were visiting the Grave of our Lord Luke 24 v 10  a group of women came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been rolled away. Some women went inside, but the timidest remained outside. Those inside saw the vision of the two angels, while them outside saw the angel on the stone.Another way of looking at it one rolled away the tomb to those out side only seeing one.

It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:Mark 4 v 21

Jesus was not comparing the mustard seed to all of the seeds in the worlds he would of been talking of the fieds that are around him the word soils can mean soil land country  Strong’s Greek 1093 he was not mentioning the whole word here is was more of a localised statement.

And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.1 kings 4 v 26

And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 9:25

this one gets used as a copying error Soloman has Forty thousand stalls of Horses for the chariots.in 2 chronicle he  had stalls for Horses and Chariot’s not just horses if you had 40 thousand horses  in 2 chronicles he had four thousand for  horses and chariots he had some stalls for the horses and some  for the Chariot’s. would work out 10 horses per Chariot

The Family tree in Matthew 1 is  different from luke 3 Lukes goes from Adam to David Mathew goes from  Abraham to David and here is the split Nathan is marys Side ad Soloman is Joseph’s side.

Some will tell  you the bible is littered  with Errors , Contradictions, Myth I could of went on all-night. I might do a follow-up as  the Bible has so much going for it as it’s an amazing book that can transform Life. It has  hope on every page it has spoke to me guided me , disciplined me and spoke directly into some situations  to T  even though the book is not a book of science :-

Hydrothermal vents are described in two books of the Bible written before 1400BC—more than 3,000 years before their discovery by science.

n the six-hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.Genisis  7 v 11

Have you entered into the springs of the sea? or have you walked in search of the depths?  Job 38 v 16

Did you ever hear of Joshua’s missing day Joshua was in the middle of a battle

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher ? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hasted not to go down about a whole day.Joshua 10 v 13 Many cultures have legends that seem to be based on this event. For example, there is a Greek myth of Apollo’s son, Phaethon, who disrupted the sun’s course for a day the New Zealand Maori people have a myth about how their hero Maui slowed the sun before it rose, while the Mexican Annals of Cuauhtitlan (the history of the empire of Culhuacan and Mexico) records a night that continued for an extended time there is.Proof everywhere you look you just need to look.So know you know a bit more concerning the Bible where it comes from and what is in it and what it does I’ve heard people say B.I.B.L.E meaning  Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth hope this has woke a few sleeping cells of your brain put there by our friendly neighbourhood government.
