Sshh..The Pagan Root of Santa Is a Secret

Santa Secret.jpg

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Exodus 20 v 3-4

“The name is not important it is the letters Santa = Satan, Claus = Lucas a form of Lucifer (Theosophist (satanist)H.P Blavatsky,The Secret Doctrine,Vol II,p.350)

INTRO.

“Tis the season to be Jolly” Christmas the time of the year that you experience Generosity, Goodwill and Love a time when all the family get together a time for fond memories. Also, a time the High street and the Internet is awash with marketing ploys to get you to spend, spend, spend and to take your eyes off the birth of Christ. Yes we should celebrate the birth of Christ after all the Angels did but on a time that is steeped in pagan practice and the worship of the Sun god not the Son of God if you were led to believe that Christmas was all about Christ and if you want to know more read on first I will give a brief background on the festival of Christmas then we will get to the bottom of the concoction of characters that made up Santa Claus.

HOW WE GOT CHRISTMAS.

Winter Solstice.Yule

A time of year when the days are at their shortest and darkness is the norm for late afternoon and the night long, bleak and dreary. A time the pagan world pay homage to their gods (small g),at the Winter Solstice the people would give praise to the Fertility god Yule. The Scandinavian god Yule is the source for this one being a fertility god a phallic symbol is the one thing that is always used and enter the Yule Log, a tree fashioned in the shape of a Phallus. That would burn for 12 days continually with a sacrifice one for each day animal and human sacrifices were used, this as you can see, is the origin of the 12 days of Christmas. while the sacrifice was in full swing the crowd would indulge in alcohol-fueled debauchery mixing with the Spirits of the culture. When saying Yuletide greetings you are invoking the spirit of the fertility god on that person as this is Happening in Scandinavia and the Celtic lands in the far reaches of the Northern Hemisphere  bordering on the southern another Festival is in full swing.

Saturnalia.

A Festival of a similar Sort but this time to Saturn, The Romans believed during the golden age (in a nutshell what the New age is) The so-called righteous benevolent king Saturn saturnruled. He taught man agriculture and gave man laws to live by then all of a sudden he disappeared and Saturnalia was to Celebrate this Golden age in the greek Pantheon he is also known as Cronos father of time (keep your eye on CERN). When this Celebration began all courts were closed and the people paid homage to the gods this consisted of a no-holds-barred involvement in crime “think of the the 2013 dystopian horror  the purge” Homosexuality encouraged, Murder allowed and a promotion of Orgies that Children would be Encouraged to take part in and Masters for the holiday would serve their slaves. By 240 a.d a 7 day period was put aside from the 17th to the 24th for the debauchery and to culminate on the 25th with an exchange of Gifts to Celebrate the Sun god Mithra who originated in Persia then about 100 a.d appeared to the Greco-Roman but first and foremost the festival was for Saturn the god of Agriculture time and excess.

Back to Britany.

MITHRAS SUN WORSHIP AND ROMAN CATHOLICISM.gif

By the 4th Century, Roman soldiers had brought Saturnalia to Britain and it became known as  “The Festival of Fools” and the school of thought was as they had failed to outlaw the pagan practices was in a sense if you can’t beat them join them. So they mixed this festival with Christian Holidays as it appealed to a wider audience thinking this would bring more people to Christ. Like what happened in Rome, Constantine didn’t become a true Christian till his death bed in the year 337 a.d he did give the Christians a reprieve with the Edict of Milan in 313 but he was still very much a Pagan. After his Victory at Milvian Bridge in 312 a.d he built the triumphal arch with no mention of Christianity he was very much still into Mithraism and his religion was just that with a sprinkle of Christianity or is it Christianity with a sprinkle of Mithraism.

From this point “The Catholic Church” was born the term Catholic was used at the councildagon of Nicea in 325 a.d and means “Universel” Ignatius of Antioch used the term in around 100 a.d but this is no connection. So from here Constantines Sun god became the Son Of God born on the 25th of December Saturnalia was tipped to Merge with Constantine’s Christianity. This marked a marriage of Pagan dates and festivals to Christian holidays and we get Easter/Ostara/Good Friday,Samhain/Halloween/All Saints Day and St Patricks Day that is also the Druid holiday for the Egyptian god Ptah-Rekh.

This amalgamation continued and by the 7th Century Pope Gregory the 1st had told Augustine of Canterbury to assimilate all pagan practices and customs into Romes bastardised Christianity. Christmas that literally means “Christs Death” Mass in religious usage means “Death Sacrifice” was in full swing for 7 days. The country was upside down with the sexual lewdness and murder for all to see with its druid practices and very little of Christ although the nativity had started to be introduced through artist renditions from the mid-1400s.

In 1652 Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658) came to power and put Charles the 1st to death one of the first things this Puritan did was to ban all things Christmas. It didn’t last long 4 years later in 1656 due to public demand Christmas was restored and so was a Stuart back on the throne. Over the next 200 years, the festival went from paying homage to Bacchus(Dionysus) and Saturn with a high point of violence in 1828 and in City’s like New York it was that bad that it gave rise to the first Organised Polie force. This was too tame the Celebrations and in some states, the Christmas Celebrations were outlawed from backing from the Church as of it’s Pagan roots.

The Churches were by the mid 19th Century the last stronghold fighting against thedickens validation of Christmas but soon succumbed by the effort of the Sunday School Society who promoted Christmas programmes aimed at the young for the next Generation. Enter the Nativity and lots of Candy that worked a treat this was also done for other pagan holidays like Halloween.I personally think this was a Jesuit interjection but history says it was for the reason of low church attendance. And we can thank Charles Dickens with his iconic “A Christmas Carol” for cementing Christmas as we know it the Icing on the cake. The reformers lost as Christmas was here to stay.

THE CHANGING FACES OF SANTA.

Krampus.

And so we have Kramps a Hybrid of half goat half demon the name Krampen has the meaning of Claw. He is the son of Hel the ruler of Helheim she is the daughter of Loki and thekrampus-1 Giantess Angraboda in Norse Mythology. Krampus is a Satyr or some would say a faun that also has a greek influence of the Demi-god Pan where we get or modern depiction of Satan. Krampus day is on December 6th conveniently the same day of the saint day of Saint Nicholas we will speak of him soon. The festival is Krampusnacht, or Krampus Night while Santa is the rewarder of the good Krampus with his shaggy appearance with horned skull and fangs wold visit the children who were naughty and with a bundle of birch would beat the Children. You would hear him come with the sound of a ball and chain being dragged around with his beast-like appearance and forked tongue they would be terrified if they had been extremely bad Krampus would drag some to the underworld till the following year and reports of children being used in Sexual practices that include S&M was part of the story.

Krampus has had a changing face as well as in Germany he is known as Knecht Ruprecht meaning servant Rupert. The story goes Saint Nicholas captured the devil putting him in chains and would accompany Nicholas when visiting the houses Knecht Ruprecht asks children whether they know their krampus-2prayers. If they do, they receive apples, nuts, and gingerbread If they do not, he beats the children with his bag of ashes In other versions of the story, Knecht Ruprecht gives naughty children gifts such as lumps of coal, sticks, and stones, while well-behaving children receive sweets from Saint Nicholas. Krampus is making a comeback with Krampus seasonal cards becoming the norm again more so in Germany.Austrian and the Alpine regions with revellers dressing up on December the 6th and partying handing out birch sticks and lumps of coal. The exact origins are still unclear on Krampus but it is believed that like Santa, Krampus predates Christianity and its roots are in the Scandinavian and Celtic Pagan stories. Like everything, there is dark and light weather you see Santa as the light (false as we will see) and Krampus as the dark it brings harmony between good and evil.

Saint Nicholas.

Nicholas was the Bishop of Smyrna but this man has come up against it in recent years as the evidence for a real historical person is lacking. With most of the information coming saint-nickfrom the 6th century 200 years after the fact so was he a real person or a concoction of Rome to blend in the pagan holiday with a Christian flavour. Nicholas was apparently born on March the 15th 270 a.d in  Anatolia in present-day Turkey he was also known as Nicholas the wonderworker. On returning home from a pilgrimage to Egypt he was awarded the post of Bishop the post was to be taken with the certainty of guaranteed persecution. It was at the time of Diocletian who persecuted the Christians like no other to the point this time was dubbed “The Great Persecution”. Nicholas was lucky and only received a prison sentence and was released when Constantine came to power. He was said to of been present at the Council of Nicea in 325 a.d although  not on the list of attendees his name does appear on several other lists.

Stories of Nicholas are numerous and some have been changed over the years, On one occasion during the time of a terrible famine a butcher lured three boys into his home. The Butcher killed them butchered them and stuffed them in barrels to cure to be sold on as ham.Nicholas while on his travels seen through the Butchers lies and he fond the boys and according to the story resurrected them. In the 11th Century, another Version of the story surfaced this account was three Clerks who found lodgings and stayed the night they were killed the butcher’s wife told him to make mince pies with the human meat Nicholas intervened and brought the men back to life.

The most famous story is when Nicholas came to the aid of a poor man who had threesaint-nick-2 daughters the man could not afford a dowry for the three of them and this means that they would remain unmarried. They would have had to fend for themselves and prostitution was a possible and likely outcome whether thy turned to that profession or not unmarried woman were looked upon as prostitutes anyway. On hearing this Nicholas went to the poor man’s house under the cover of night and filled three purses full of gold coins and placed them in the window of their home. Other versions had him go for three nights and places a single purse each night one for each daughter.

Nicholas was warned in a dream of a storm that would place his and other sailors lives in danger on a ship set sail for Egypt. He said God would protect them when the storm hit one sailor fell and died and Nicholas brought the man back to life. Historians place the story of the girls and sailors having historical basis the other story of the butcher they say was a later addition.

Saint Nicholas had a reputation for secret gift-giving he was known to place a coin in the shoes that were left out for him. This is a tradition that still gets done today as he shares his feast day with the Satyr Demon Krampus one avenue for Sants name comes from the Dutch Sinter Klaus who in itself is a translation of saint Nicholas. The word Nicholas is from the greek Nikos meaning conquer /destroyer and laos meaning people and is the greek variation of Nimrod meaning in Hebrew”we will rebel”. Nimrod was also known as Saturn his name is a variation of Saturn and this was the original festival at Christmas are you starting to see the connection yet. St Nicholas means Nimrod, can mean Saturn/Satan is “Lord of the rings” Sauron is Satan, all having an input in what we call Christmas no such anything as a coincidence.

Nimrod.

When the yule log is finished the people the people of old would erect a tree the Bible makes reference to this. It is either talking about a tree or an Idol I Personally go with Idol.

Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.  Jeremiah 10 v 2-5

This is when the Holly and Oak king meet once again on the 21st of December the Winter solstice  this time the oak king prevails. It starts to get 3 minutes lighter till there next meet on the 21st of June the summer solstice and as its roots going back to the Babylonian times. This takes us to the 25th of December yes Mithra was said to of been born on this day but the Original Sun god was Nimrod a man the Bible calls a “giborim” that means a mighty hunter. Nimrod was born to Semiramis the Original “Mother goddess” also known as “The Queen of Heaven” and this story that is based on Historical fact would not be complete without a sordid royal touch and that is that Semiramis was not only Nimrods Mother she also became his wife and to finish of this couple the first child god Tammuz.

Nirod tree.jpg

Nimrod ensured his name would go down in history for the tower of babel this was not a building that reached to the heavens. The Hebrew word is Migdal and it was more like a ziggurat think of a pyramidal flower “sunflower”. This was probably more like a stargate technology that nimrod gained from the fallen angels Marduk and Horus. Nimrod was the first Prototype for the Anti-Christ in charge of all who lived in his expanded Kingdom. When Nimrod died some say by a 40 years illness others by the hands of another mighty hunter of the name of Esau “the redman” Brother of the father of the Hebrew nations. Nimrods estranged Mother and wife made claims that a full grown evergreen tree sprang up overnight from a tree stump symbolising “life out of death”. This happened on the day of December the 25th on Nimrods Birthday she claims Nimrod himself would leave gifts under the Evergreen tree for her.

Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols. Ezekiel 6 v 13.

So we have The Sun King the self-proclaimed “Queen of Heaven and Tammuz the child king. here we have the root of every belief system in some form or another the spread after the dispersion at Babel.

Nimrod Became  Ares, Hermes Odin, Jupiter, Mars, Molech, Atlas, Dagon and  Baal who is also known as the Crescent moon and many more.

Semiramis became Isis, Cybele, Gaia, Venus, Aphorodite, Ashtoreth and Easter

Tammuz with Tammuz the sun god and child gods were interchangeable, Osiris Bacchus, Iswara, Deoius, Eros and Cupid.

These gods and goddesses can be found in China, Japan, Tibet and Greece long Before Constantine paganised the Nativity story. This is also the root of Mother and Child depiction like the Asian Cybele and Deoius Romes Fortuna and Jupiter that Constantine used for Mary and Christ It is seen in Witchcraft as the triple god and goddess also the story of Easter and her young that came out of the sky n an egg after Nimrods death Semiramis became pregnant and told the people she carried Nimrods child and he was “Reborn”in the form of Tammuz and he also is said to of copulated with his Gran who also mother.

Odin.

odin-and-santa-claus

The season of the wild hunt in Norse Mythology this is the time of year that the gods and goddesses and spirits would go flying through the Sky. Leading off the hunt was the top of the Norse godly ladder and his name Woden otherwise known as Odin Master of Yule. This was not a good day if you were unlucky enough to fall witness to the Hunt those who did would have a run of calamity in their life’s. This was also an Omen of possible Famine, War or plague and for the witness, death was also a possibility or a trip to the Underworld on this night and for some, their spirits would be dragged from their flesh to join the procession.

Odin would on this night become anti-social and become a darker image of himself with his band of Valkyries some say this is a later addition to demonise “the Hunt”. On a lighter odin-2note, they would fly through the air  past the Villages scaring the inhabitants and for some Odin would deliver Toys and Candy. The Children would fill their boots with straw for Sleipnir Odin’s trusted steed with his 8 legs. Odin was known to go down Chimney’ and fire holes leaving gifts and times change and Christianity took over for those who have an interest in the Norse pantheon there are some parallels to the Bible.

Santa Claus.

santa-sliegh

Santa took the form of father Christmas who wold tour the countryside in England getting drunk during “The Festival of Fools” the British take on Saturnalia. Accompanied by a horned goat at his side named “Black Pete” who resembles Krampus and “The Templars” Baphomet this Character can be found with Saint Nicholas as he is said to of captured the Devil put him in chains and he became his servant. Slight echoes of Solomon’s star of David well the Star of Rephan that he wore to control Demons. The actual name Santa Claus originated as a Character identified as the Devil in a play by this time Saint Nicholas was downplayed by some and his sidekick Krampus took centre stage. Albeit he went through a change Knecht Ruprecht even at one point became the servant of the young Christ he became

The actual name Santa Claus originated as a Character identified as the Devil  and  was made popular in the medieval Christmas plays of the tenth through the sixteenth century. These miracles, moral, mystery and passion dramas acted out scenes from the scriptures and the liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church. Combining humour and religion, they flourished during the fifteenth century. by this time Saint Nicholas was downplayed by some and his sidekick Krampus took centre stage. Albeit he went through a change Knecht Ruprecht even at one point became the servant of the young Christ he became weihnachtsmann and this is Santa Claus in these plays, the devil’s common entry line, known as the “devil’s bluster,” was

“Ho! Ho! Hoh!”(Siefker Phyllis. Santa Claus)“What, and a’ come? I conjure thee, foul spirit, down to hell! Ho, ho, ho! the devil, the devil! A-comes, a-comes, a-comes upon me,(Dodsley, Robert. A Select Collection of Old English Plays, Vol. VI. The Project Gutenberg Ebook.

santa-satan

Remember according to H.P. Blavatsky, The Secret Doctrine, Vol II, p. 350″The name isn’t important. It is the letters. Santa=Satan; Claus=Lucas or Lucifer” The similarities between Santa  Satan is startling, to say the least.

1. Santa  is an acronym for Satan

2. Santa is also known as old nick a name for the Devil

3. Claus is an acronym for Lucus a nickname for Lucifer

4. Christmas is Celebrated on the 25th of December this is not Christ birthday but Nimrods and Saturns and all sun gods like Mithra,Apollo.

5. Santa Claus in English Gematria Equals: 666

6. Santa Flys through the Air Satan is the prince of the Air.

7. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High. Isaiah 14 v 14 Santa lives in the North pole above the Mountains.

8. The Color Red is always associated with Satan.

9. Satan has a following of Demons Santa has his following of Elves

10. Satan wants to be worshipped Santa has Children praying to him writing letters asking him for gifts, not Christ.

The fact is that Santa and Satan are alter egos, brothers; they have the same origin. . . On the surface, the two figures are polar opposites, but underneath they share the same parent, and both retain many of the old symbols associated with their “father” . . . From these two paths, he arrived at both the warmth of our fireplace and in the flames of hell. (Siefker, Phyllis. Santa Claus, Last of the Wild Men: The Origins and Evolution of Saint Nicholas. Jefferson: McFarland & Company, Inc., 1997, p. 6)

Now that is Just the similarities with Satan but as always Satan has to have a counterfeit and that’s what he has in Santa an Anti-Christ figure Anti-Christ means instead of and we will see hear just how much Santa is similar to Christ.

SANTA LIVES IN THE NORTH

Truth be told the List goes on and on Santa has his book of those who are naughty or Nice Christ has his book of Life.

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And there were open books, and one of them was the book of life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books. Revelation 20 v 13

So Santa has had many an Input and Stories back and forth till we have the Santa we havecola-santa today. Coca-Cola has had an input as well but Santa was clearly up and about as the white haired gift giving north Polian before Coke had their input St Nicholas had worn his Bishop’s red robes during Victorian times and before that was seen in a range of Colours but Red being the number one. In January 1863, the magazine Harper’s Weekly published the first illustration of St Nicholas/St Nick by Thomas Nast. In this, he was wearing a ‘Stars and Stripes’ outfit! Over the next 20 years, Thomas Nast continued to draw Santa every Christmas.

On January 1st, 1881, Harper’s Weekly published Nast’s most famous image of Santa, complete with a big red belly, an arm full of toys and smoking a pipe! This image of Santa became very popular, with more artists drawing Santa in his red and white costume from 1900 to 1930.

In the 1920s Santa was First used by Coca-Cola and the drawing was based on the drawings of Thomas Nast. It wasn’t till 1931 that the classic Coca -Cola Santa emerged drew by artist Haddon Sundblom. Coca -Cola have continued to use Santa in their advertising and introduced the Coca-Cola truck in the 1990s and when the adverts are shown with the song of “The Holidays are Coming” we all know its time for that season.

TRADITIONS OF CHRISTMAS.

winter

We can see here the start of Santa and his Reindeer, 8 was the original number Rudolph being a later addition and Santa going down the chimney has its roots here too. The Elves that accompany Santa can find its roots in Krampus and Hearth gods these were household gods of the Chimney and the household in general. They would at some point in the winter months dress in red and visit the home and reward those who have pleased them or bring curses on those who haven’t.

We have spoken on the origin of the Yule log and its Phallic purpose and the 12 days of Christmas was a sacrifice each day. The use of lights in the window whether a candle or wick lamp came about in the dark ages and was to let people know they were participating in the Yule festivities. This has continued till today although some people go over the score America is big on this and can be traced to Scandinavian immigrants in the 1600s.

Holly goes back to Saturnalia and was done to ward off evil spirits.”Decking the halls” was to acknowledge the power of the nature gods like the demi-god Pan and of corse a reference to the Holly king. In Witchcraft or the Modern Wicca reinvented by Gardener andChristmasAsherah.jpg Sanders in the 1950’s the wreath was to symbolise the power of life over death.

Mistletoe back  in the times of the druids was known to be used in a spell to enhance the woman’s libido to become helpless and to be open to  sexual advances “Pagan date rape”. Back in Roman times celebrants often hung metal ornaments outside on trees. Typically, the ornaments represented a god either Saturn or the family’s patron deity. in Scandanavia they hung candles and cake on the tree for Odin.

Like the Christmas Tree, Evergreens have always represented fertility rites and I’m sure being stuck indoors for the Winter months never had much to do with this !!!. Tree worship has always been done in Pagan circles and all Christmas practices have roots in Pagan rites. As we have read above Semiramis and the evergreen growing out of a dead root is the start of this one.

Gift giving take your pick, Hearth gods for good service Saint Nicholas if you are struggling or maybe Odin if he is not showing his split personality when on the wild hunt. There is also little known Italian Witch La Befena who would drop you a gift from her flight on a broomstick in early January same old story if good some candy and if bad you wake up to a lump of coal in your stocking. Frau Holle is known as the feminine spirit of the woods and plants and on the 25th of December she gives gifts and comes from the Pagan triple goddess beliefs. Last but not least in any way shape or form is from the Nativity as when the baby Jesus was a toddler the three wise men came to the home of Mary and Joseph and brought gifts for the KING the Messiah Jesus of Nazareth.

the-nativity-2

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1 v 21-23

Herod the Great Died in 4 b.c and we are told that he wanted all Children 2 years old and younger to be killed this places Jesus at a possible age of two or younger at Herods Death. Jesus was not born on the 25th of December we know this as the Gospel of Luke Mentions Zacharia doing his priestly duties known as the course of Abijah he served one week in spring and one in Autumn. After his duties finished Elizabeth fell with John 6 months later Mary fell with Jesus. So if taken the spring account Elizabeth would of fell pregnant in June 6 months later Mary conceived December, 9 months later born in September.

Some use the Shepherds grazing as to it couldn’t have been autumn as the Shepherds were out letting the sheep graze but the climate is different in the east. They also had a custom at Passover (April) to let the sheep out till the first rain in September and there being no room at the Inn would make sense as September has a few festivals. All Jews had to return to their place of birth for the census and 3 kings nope (don’t think so) there was a band of Magi who travelled in bands of 9-12. The gifts were Gold for kingship frankincense for a Priest and Myrrh to represent suffering also anointing and they were not present at his birth. They got there and Mary and Joseph were in a house and mentions Jesus as a young Child not a babe in a Manger.

I hope you have gained an insight into the true meaning of Christmas and the Origin of the rituals and Santa. I was always aware of the Pagan influence of Christmas as I came from a Pagan past but after my research, it has opened my eyes once again to this festival. I’m not going to bash anyone who celebrates this season as it is good for bringing the family together and at the moment the household I’m in still celebrates Christmas. If you use December the 25th to celebrate Christ fair play you now know that is wasn’t his Birthday. You get some who say things like you should not do anything on this day to honour Christ as its pagan all I have to say to that is

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118 v 24

What I will say is be careful as you can open doors for the Enemy with rituals etc, The quicker you let your child know Santa isn’t real for the reasons stated in this blog and lift the name of Christ the better. Like Halloween and Easter to me, they are just a day like the other 365 or 360 going with the biblical calendar. As always I would ask if you liked this article please like us on Facebook and Subscribe as for Christmas.

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24 v 15
