No Such Thing As Coincidence – Kevin

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10 v 13

I have grown up with Kevin as we come from the same area as kids we ran about in the same group at times. It was later in life we became good friends round about the time Kevin became a blood bought follower of the way the truth and the life. Knowing Kevin I can verify this account to be true and believe that God has preserved him as some of the things that have happened to Kevin in my opinion only can be by “The Great I Am’s” hand and that is why I named this ” No Such Thing As Coincidence”. I remember a story Kevin told me a while back (before he gave his heart).

On this occasion, Kevin and an acquaintance were on their way to score (buy) Heroin and found in the street £150 as they continued to walk down the street a man came up to them and asked them “have you found money..? ” Kevin replied,”No mate you might have left it up at the shop” as the shop was in the direction they came from. So as Kevin went to the door to buy his fix and as he was splitting the Booty a Voice from a window overlooking the Door of the Drug Dealer said “That’s my Brother’s money ya P**k your getting it” Kevin thought he had time to get his Needed fix as that comes first at all times for Kevin in any situation. The friend on this occasion erred with caution and ran away Kevin came out the House now this House was on a dead end street one way in one way out. Like a scene from Tarantino’s  Reservoir Dog’s 5 people tooled up(with weapons) were walking down towards Kevin and he by his own admission was like ” A Rabbit caught in the headlights” Legs like Jelly consumed with fear as he braced himself accepting his fate. A taxi dropped someone off and Kevin Jumped in and away he went. Although this house was notorious for selling drugs it was infamous for no one coming to the door in a Car as it was Dangerous and Jail bait. Like so many areas in Glasgow that become self-governed and at times by the Young team that hate Drugs due to having been brought up with addiction in the Family home. Sadly only to succumb to an addiction themselves in later life as there is no prospects for the youth.

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.    Matthew 12 v 43-45

This scripture Spoke to Kevin while in a Crisis Centre just before he came to the Lord Kevin went into a room for some quite time and a piece of paper fell off the wall. It spoke to him on a personal level he took from it to stop taking drugs or they will come back with a Vengence. Scripturally speaking he had to fill that void with Christ or that Unclean spirit that was ejected will come back with his Demon companions and make him worse of than before. Thanks for listening to Kevins Testimony and keep in mind that there is

” No Such Thing As Coincidence”
