Copycat Saviours

copycatsavior

Is Jesus a copy cat saviour? there has been a lot of talk over the last few years comparing Jesus to a whole host of gods from all over the ancient past.Since Zeitgeist has been we can say successful to the masses that are more interested in taking selfies than to google what the truth is. So without going into an E-book, I will show you the audience that Jesus is no Constantine sun god and the real Son of God that he claims to be. And that all stories about the gods had a different narrative before the time of Christ.

Horuscopy-cat-3

Born on Dec 25th
Born of a virgin
Star in the East
Adored by 3 kings
Teacher at 12
Baptised/ministry at 30
12 disciples
Performed miracles
“Lamb of God”/”The Light”
Crucified
Dead for 3 days
Resurrected”

First of all this version and all Version’s of the so-called saviours the story’s are completely different when you check pre-Constantine. There are many birth dates for Horus the most well known is at the winter solstice on December the 21st. Bearing in mind Jesus was not born on the 25th of December and more likely in September, you arrive at this date with the Gospel of Luke. Horus Mother was Isis no mention of her being a virgin no mention of a star he did do some Miracles but didn’t raise the dead or walk on water  Horus  wasn’t adored by 3 kings, wasn’t a teacher at age 12, was never baptised Anup was the embalmer, did not begin his ministry at age 30 and didn’t have 12 disciples.

Krishna:copy-cat-4

Born of a virgin
Star in the East
Performed miracles
Resurrected

Krishna was not born of a virgin his Mother had several children. No star in the east and wasn’t resurrected though he did perform some Miracles. At the age of Seven, he lifted a  Mountain that had a perimeter of 26 mile’s, He could duplicate his body over 16,000 times and appear as anyone. And no resurrection in the Mahabharata he seems to have a peter pan existence and in other places to be subject to nature.

Attis:copy-cat-5

Born of a virgin
Born on Dec 25th
Crucified
Dead for 3 days
Resurrected

Attis wasn’t born of a Virgin wasn’t born on December the 25th wasn’t crucified, wasn’t dead for three days, and the resurrection sketchy at best.  Attis’ mother Nana laid an Almond in her bosom the almond disappeared, and she became pregnant no mention of a virgin he was fostered by a he-goat and castrated himself under a pine tree and Cybele  brought him back to life some say this is his resurrection but no mention of a 3 day period or tomb, as I said above about the stories, have been altered the mention of his resurrection wasn’t mentioned till after 150 A.D.

Dionysus:copy-cat-6

Born of a virgin
Born on Dec 25th
Performed miracles
Turned water into wine (not visible on the list, but the voice-over says it)
“King of Kings”
“Alpha and Omega”
“God’s only begotten son” (not visible on the list, but the voice-over says it)
Resurrected”

Dionysus was not born of a virgin, was not born on December the 25th he did perform miracles but never turned water into wine or any other resembling that of Jesus. He was never called “King of Kings”, “Alpha and Omega” or “God’s only begotten son”  there is a story of Dionysus being resurrected in ONE of the versions it reads Titans attack and ate all of Dionysus except for his heart.  Zeus destroys those titans and reforms Dionysus from the remaining heart there is also mention of Dionysus being crucified but as I have already stated that the stories change after  Christ and can be traced to 4th Century.

Mithra:copy-cat-7

Born of a virgin
Born on Dec 25th
12 disciples
Performed miracles
Dead for 3 days
Resurrected
“The Truth”/”The Light” (not visible on the list, but the voice-over says it)
Sunday worship”

Constantine’s  Sun god I should have put this one at the top Mithraism as in the image above originated in Persia but the form we get now is Greco-Roman and the continuity between them is highly debated. Mithra like most depictions of gods has differed to fit this Sun god worship that can be traced back to Nimrod and the tower of babel but that is for a different post.

Anyway, Mithra was not born of a virgin but from a rock, wasn’t born on December the 25th. The Romans had his festival on the 25th of December but there shows in the Verunum album (a Roman city ) that records a  Mithraic festival of commemoration as taking place on the 26th of  June more in line with the summer solstice rather than the winter. He didn’t have 12 disciples, He did perform miracles but not the same as Christ he wasn’t dead for 3 days, wasn’t resurrected, wasn’t called “The Truth” or “The Light”, and wasn’t worshipped on Sunday prior to Christ.

Some say all paths lead to Rome  and if you are talking about the paganised Christianity you might be correct but they sure don’t Lead to Jesus of Nazareth as he himself tells you

” I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14 v 6

I will cover other fables of gods in another post and  I hope you have gained some food for thought. That Jesus Christ is not a remould in a line of Sun gods and in the next article I will show extra-biblical as well as Biblical historical evidence for Jesus Christ being the one and only begotten  Son of God.
